Virtual Tasting with Chardonnay August 1Regular price $150.00
Join us and Pascaline Lepeltier, MS and Best Sommelier of France, on August 1st from 3:30pm to 5pm for a rare glimpse into some Chardonnay that Matt made in very small quantities during his career.
This tasting includes three Chardonnays from West Sonoma County and the Sonoma Coast (price includes shipping):
- 2010 Matthew D. Taylor Walker Station Vineyard Chardonnay
- 2014 Chamboulé Heitz Vineyard Chardonnay
- 2017 Matt Taylor Wines Komorebi Vineyard Chardonnay
In 2010 and 2011, Matt made less than 50 cases each of Chardonnay from Walker Station Vineyard in Forestville and because Mikaela was such a fan, most of it was kept in their cellar for personal consumption. There are ONLY 20 bottles left of the 2010 vintage so please enjoy these last bottles with Matt before they’re gone forever.
In 2014, Matt made a small amount of Chardonnay from the Heintz vineyard in Occidental for a now sold-out label called Chamboulé. He is very proud of the wines that were made there–it was the genesis of him taking his craft to another level in creating Matt Taylor Wines. The 2014 will be tasted and contrasted against the most recent release of Chardonnay from the Komorebi Vineyard, the 2017.
Pascaline will moderate the tasting and strive to get the whole story of these wines out into the open and help answer any questions you may have. Join us on August 1 for our inaugural virtual tasting.
